Originally realised as an award-winning residence defined by its dramatic siting, expansive views and exceptional amenities, this palatial home underwent a renovation on a grand scale. The project involved a deliberate process of reduction and refinement, stripping the building back to its essential architectural framework before reconstituting it as a contemporary luxury residence CDG’s intervention pays homage to the original architecture while elevating it through recalibrated proportion, spatial clarity, and material discipline. A refined palette of natural stone, high-grade timber veneers, bespoke joinery, and Bisazza surfaces is deployed with restraint, reinforcing material permanence and architectural coherence throughout. The result is a renewed residence that balances continuity and transformation, reasserting the home's identity with a contemporary interpretation grounded in craft and longevity.
